Pastor Tom Martin was born and raised in Newfane, NY. Tom saw the Gospel lived out in the lives of his parents and heard the Gospel proclaimed at Ridgewood Bible Church. He gave his life to Christ the end of his junior year in High School and has found the Lord Jesus to be the treasure above all treasures. Tom received his Bachelor’s Degree in Bible from Philadelphia College of Bible (now Cairn University) and his Masters of Arts in Ministry from Moody Bible Institute.
Tom continues to be overwhelmed by the tender mercy of the Lord Jesus, who has relentlessly pursued him with goodness and steadfast love. Tom knows the only real credential that he has for ministry is the grace of God in his life. He finds his call to ministry in John 21 where Jesus said to Peter, “If you love me, feed my sheep.” Tom is passionate about presenting the Good News of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Along with serving as pastor here at Niagara Community Church, Tom also serves as a Hospice Chaplain in Buffalo. He has the difficult honor of walking alongside many people on the doorstep of eternity.
He and his wife, Anne, live in Tonawanda. They have four grown children and five grandsons. Tom enjoys spending time with his family, bike riding, reading, gardening, wrestling and football.
